Saturday, 31 December

West Dover

5 pm: New Year’s Eve Celebration at the 1846 Tavern with special entrees, live music, and a midnight champagne toast. All seating is first come, first serve, except for hotel guests and Tavern Club Members.

6 pm: New Year’s Eve Torchlight parade and fireworks with instructors skiing and riding the Canyon trail with torches at Mount Snow, free

8 pm: New Year’s Eve at the Snow Barn with Neon Wave (21+), $25 – Sold out!

10 am-9 pm: Downhill skiing and snowboarding at the Living Memorial Park, $5

11:30 am-1 pm: Senior pizza party at the Brattleboro Senior Center, free, RSVP

2-4 pm: Children’s bowling at the Brattleboro Bowl, $10 plus tax, shoes included

4-5 pm: Alejandro’s Old Tyme Magic Show family performance, cost is a non-perishable donation to Project Feed the Thousands

5 pm or 7:30 pm: Bowling at the Brattleboro Bowl, $69 at 5 pm or $79 at 7:30 pm, reserve a lane in advance

6-7:30 pm: Family contra dance, free but donations to Last Night Brattleboro are welcome

6-9 pm: Free ice skating at Living Memorial Park, $3 for rentals

8-9:30 pm: New Year’s Eve fire pit and fireworks with s’mores at the Retreat Farm in Brattleboro

1-2:30 pm: Last night family-friendly snowshoe or woods walk with the Brattleboro Outing Club – canceled

Bennington

8-11 am: Moon Scones pop-up bakery is selling scones made with local ingredients and sweetened with maple syrup until they are gone at 66 Main St in North Bennington

11:15 am-12:15 pm: Noon Year’s Eve Party at the Bennington Museum

6 pm: New Year’s Eve cello concert in North Bennington, limited seating. Free tickets can be picked up at the McCullough Library, Powers Market, and the Bennington Bookshop

Manchester

9 pm-12:30 am: Adults-only NYE Celebration at the Chop House at the Equinox with DJ KRYME, food stations, and a sparkling wine or cider toast at midnight, $35

5-8 pm: Kids’ New Year’s Eve Countdown Buffet at the Chop House at the Equinox with buffet, arts and crafts, music, and a magician, adult $32, kid $20, under 5 $2

5:30-6:45 pm: New Year’s Celebration at the Inn at Manchester with the Taconic String Band and a cash bar, $30 general admission
